The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board (DSBSB) wishes to inform all eligible students and the general public that the registration period for the 2025/2026 Students Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS) – Bursary Award Programme has been extended by an additional week.
This extension has been approved to provide more eligible students of Delta State origin studying in approved tertiary institutions across Nigeria with the opportunity to complete their applications and participate in the programme.
Accordingly, the online registration exercise, which was previously scheduled to close earlier, will now close on Saturday, 20th June 2026.
Eligible applicants who have not yet completed their registration are advised to take advantage of this extension and visit the official portal:

Applicants are reminded to:
Complete the online registration process
Upload all required documents
Provide accurate academic and personal information
Pay the non-refundable processing fee of ₦800 only
Print their registration acknowledgement slip after successful submission
The Board encourages all prospective applicants to ensure that their applications are completed before the new deadline, as no further extension may be granted.
The Delta State Government remains committed to supporting students through educational intervention programmes aimed at promoting access to quality tertiary education and reducing the financial burden on deserving students.
